I submitted a loan application on loan and soon after I started receiving phone calls and emails from various companies stating that I had qualified for $5,000, $8,000 and $10,000 loans. I asked 4 of these companies to provide me their tax ID and Banking information so I could verify the status of their business. Well needless to say the information they gave me was bogus; and one company put me on hold and then came back online to apologize for their mistake, I no longer qualified for the loan, they said something came up on my credit report. I check my credit report regularly and none of these companies requested my credit report or verified my employment.
